About Men of Bowden

The Men of Bowden was founded in August 2015, by Brother Robert Emelle, our first President.  There were 12 additional founding Brothers.  Our Mission is working in our Local Communities to help build Respect, Strength, Accountability and Educational Support.  We maintain and support Self Empowerment.  We support The H.J.C. Bowden Senior Multi-Purpose Facility through our local fund raisers.  At Christmas, we give a monetary donation to two needed families.  Whenever the Bowden Center express a need for supplies, equipment, ect. we provide financial assistance.  As part of our community involvement, we give an annual scholarship to a deserving senior male within the Tri-City School system. We work diligently with the Tri Area Schools and Churches for Spiritual support.  We also support our District Councilman.  We are very proud that we are now recognized as a 501 (c3) Business Organization.
